This I’ve Learned

I WAS THINKING…
about the Solar Eclipse. Although I didn’t have the excitement of seeing it in person, it was a thrill to watch on television. Not only was the Eclipse awesome, but the fact that the whole country had a peaceful time together with all eyes to the skies. Now that was a bright light from the dark.

THOUGHTS ABOUT GRANDPARENTS
The easiest thing for a child to operate are the grandparents.
Grandchildren can make their grandparents happy by just saying “I’m hungry”.
A grandparent is a baby sitter who watches the kids instead of television.
Perfect love comes with the first grandchild.

ANSWERS FOR RUSTY TOOLS
(Taken from Haley Hints)
When storing tools in a damp environment, put a few mothballs in the toolbox or tool drawers to absorb the moisture.
Rusty tools easily cleaned by rubbing with steel wool pad dipped in turpentine.
Prevent small garden tools from rusting, by storing in a bucket of dry sand.
To protect household tools, coat metal or cutting blades with floor wax and let dry.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
There are times we may feel bored or even lonely. Maybe that would be a good time to find something we can appreciate. Perhaps that might be looking at pictures of fun times or finding an uplifting book to read. Then, there’s nature. Being outdoors and enjoying the clouds, trees and flowers, etc. might be the best therapy. Think about it.
