Tip For Getting Old

Come follow me as I start my blog, WISE. (When I Saw Eighty)

In my 80+ years, I’ve experienced many life’s lessons. I still chuckle when I remember some stories and jokes. Many tasks were made simple because of a mere helpful hint.

‘This I’ve Learned ‘is the subtitle of the three books I’ve written. It’ll be fun sharing what I’ve learned in this blog. Each week I’ll write a bit of wisdom, humor, or a helpful hint.

And the best is yet to come. I want you to share your thoughts and experience. Can we talk?

Can’t make up your mind? Remember this. WHEN IN DOUBT, DON’T

How many times have you purchased something even when you had doubts if it was what you really wanted? Most likely you regretted it later. Can you remember a time when you liked something or ‘it felt good’ the minute you saw it? Of course, that’s an easy decision. Life is less stressful when we don’t debate with yourself. When in doubt…don’t

Harold held his father’s hand as his father laid near death.

“Harold, I need you to do something for me.”

“Of course, Dad, anything.”

‘I want you to change my registration from Democrat to Republican.

“I don’t believe you. You’ve always been such a devoted Democrat. Why would you want to change?”

“Well, son if someone’s going to die, I want it to be a Republican.”
