This I’ve Learned

 I WAS THINKING…
about all the stoplights on the road I drive often. Usually, it means stopping at most of them. But the other day, I got a green on everyone. That was cool. I think I saved ten minutes. I suppose the lights are in some way synchronized. So, I’ve been trying to figure it out. It’s almost like playing a game. Isn’t there’s a game called Red light, Green light?

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
If we’re not meant to have midnight snacks, why is there a light in the fridge?
I only sing in the car if I’m going in reverse. I’m a backup singer.
I got over my addiction to chocolate, marshmallows and nuts, I won’t lie, it was a rocky road.
My cousin just inherited his family’s dairy farm. That makes him the dairy heir.

A LITTLE ABOUT WINDSHIELDS
(Taken from Easy Does It)
Put baking soda on a damp rag and wipe the windshied to keep rain from collecting on it.
Get rid of the dead bugs on the windshield by squirting it with dish detergent and water, then scrub with a mesh onion bag. It will scrape off the bugs without harm. Finish with a clean rag.
Get rid of dirt, sap and grime by rubbing both sides of wiper with rag soaked in ammonia.
Use club soda to get rid of grease off the windshield.
Apply clear nail polish to fill small holds in the windshield. (Also works for car paint job.)

THIS I’VE LEARNED
Sometimes when we are upset we will say things we will regret or just say more than necessary. Perhaps if we learn to talk less, we can say more.  Think about it!
