THIS I’VE LEARNED

I WAS THINKING…
how one or two words can have such an impact. It’s not just racial names or curse words, but what about ‘If Only’. Of course, we’ve all done things we regretted and wish we had a second chance, but what is done is done. That sounds simple enough, but the “if Only” haunts us.  The thought that something wouldn’t have happened, if only…
Perhaps if we thought only if instead of if only. Only if I could change what happened, I would, but I know that’s impossible.
I like the saying, “don’t ruin a good day today by thinking about a bad day yesterday”.  I’ll work on it.

YOU KNOW YOU  ARE GETTING OLD WHEN…
you need a vacation, from a vacation.
it takes longer to get over a good time than to have it.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
(Silly Comments)
I just wrote a book on reverse psychology. Do NOT read it!
I know a lot of jokes about unemployed people but none of them work.
Parallel lines have so much in common.  It’s a shame they’ll never meet.
The shortest will ever written: “Being of sound mind, I spent all the money.”
When you look really closely, all mirrors look like eyeballs.

GOOD ADVICE
Learn from the past, prepare for the future, live in the present.
Don’t let gradiose plans for tomorrow interfer with chances to do little things today.

HELPFUL HACKS FROM YOU TUBE
Fill water bottle halfway and lay it on its side in the freezer. After frozen, fill
it with water. It will actually last much longer than just normal ice cubes.   Quickly cool down beverage by wrapping the bottle in a wet paper towel, place it in the freezer for a couple of minutes. You’ll be surprised how well it works.
Don’t water down your wine with ice cubes – Use frozen grapes instead.

PUNCH LINES
