how often I’ve looked at myself in the mirror all these years, day after day, and I didn’t notice my face growing old. Actually, I never gave it a thought. But now since so many pictures are being snapped with the smart phone, wrinkles and double chins are no longer a secret. And, of course, the biggest tattletales are zoom and facetime.

TRICKS FOR GIFT WRAPPING

Don’t fight the tape to find the end. Stick a button at the end and move it as you use the tape.
A hand-held hair dry set on high can perk up squashed recycled holiday bows.
Wrap a special gift to look like a giant chocolate kiss. Place the gift on a paper plate. Starting underneath the plate, wrap aluminum foil up around the item to form the kiss shape. Make the gift tag out of a long piece of white paper and stick it in the top.
Here’s how to store wrapping paper neat and from unrolling. Take an empty wrapping paper tube and slit it lengthwise. Slide it on top of the new roll, leaving the edge of the paper hanging slightly through the slit. The paper will stay neatly rolled and make wrapping the next gift easy.

How often have we’ve felt something was impossible to accomplish, so we didn’t even try? But let’s look at athletes who break records because they knew it was possible if they worked for it. Perhaps we sometimes give up too soon. Think about it.
