I WAS THINKING…
about the man in the car behind me blowing his horn because I wasn’t turning left fast enough. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he didn’t see the pedestrian who I was waiting on. My guess is if he was tested for patience, he would be negative.
ON THE BRIGHTER SIDE
* I too was once a male trapped in a female body…but then my mother gave birth.
* If only vegetables smelled as good as bacon.
* When I lost a finger on my right hand in a freak accident, I asked the doctor if I would still be able to write with it. He said, “Probably, but I wouldn’t count on it.”
*I woke up this morning determined to drink less, eat right, and exercise. But that was four hours ago when I was younger and full of hope.

MORE USES FOR COFFEE FILTERS
(Taken from Grandma Putt’s Problem Solvers)
Blot a spill if you are out of paper towels.
Catch drips from an ice-cream cone. Poke a hole in a filter and insert the cone.
Use as a mask. Cover nose and mouth and secure with a long rubber band.
Line plant pot with a filter to keep the soil from seeping through drainage hole.
Use coffee filter to cover a dish put in the microwave.
Separate stacked plates with coffee filter to keep the rough bottom from scratching the smooth tops.
