This I’ve Learned

I WAS THINKING…
about a couple I recently saw who I’d hadn’t seen for probably over 20 years.
I wasn’t sure if it was them because they looked different. I was feeling bad because they had aged so much until that evening when I looked in the mirror.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
The other day Henry walked into a place to buy a suit. He told the salesman he would like to see something cheap. The salesman told Henry to look in the mirror.
John was investing in gold. He is now a millionaire. That would be great except he used to be a multi-millionaire.
JUDGE: How could you possibly swindle someone who trusted you?
PRISONER; “But, Judge, people who don’t trust you can’t be swindled.”

CAN YOU DO THIS?
Can you hold your nose and hum at the same time?
(No worries, neither can anyone else)

PETROLEUM JELLY TO THE RESCUE
(Taken from Reader’s Digest Practical Solver)
For lubricating parts under water-in a water tank perhaps-petroleum jelly is long lasting.
To prevent the cap on a tube of glue from sticking, put a petroleum on the threads before recapping.
Protect the metal parts of tools, fishing rods, skates, skis and more by lubricating with petroleum jelly.
Use petroleum jelly to remove a tight ring.
To soften cuticles, massage with petroleum in morning and night.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
It makes us happy when someone does something nice for us. But it’s even a greater feeling when we do something for others to make them happy. Let’s be happy! THINK ABOUT IT.
