This I’ve Learned

I WAS THINKING…
about the TV sitcoms that use canned laughter. I really don’t like anything that is artificial and it feels like that fits in that category. There are many good things about television, but I think the best is that we can turn it off anytime.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
After being married for twenty-five years Gladys asked her husband to describe her. He hesitated and then replied, “You’re A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J K”.
She asked him what that meant. He said, “Adorable, beautiful, cute, delightful, elegant, foxy, gorgeous and hot.”
She beamed and said, “Oh, that is so lovely. What about I, J and K?
He said,”I’m Just Kidding”
The swelling on his head is going down.

THE SECRET TO STAYING YOUNG
Live honesty, eat slowly and lie about your age. (Lucille Ball)

HANDY TIPS THAT MIGHT SURPRISE YOU
(As seen on YouTube)
If you need to clean your keyboard quickly – whether at home or at the office – and don’t have air duster handy, just grab a Post-it note and use the sticky end to gather up the dirt.
If you find yourself needing a larger Ziploc bag and only have smaller ones available, simple turn one bag inside out, then interlock the locking strips of the two bags. This easy trick effectively doubles your storage size.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
Sometimes we might be tempted to react strongly to a comment that has offended us. Perhaps we would say something before we gave it good thought and regret it later. If we say nothing, no one will know for sure what we’re thinking. They can guess, but it’s best not to remove all doubt. We can always approach them later after we had a chance to rationalize our thoughts. Think about it!
