I WAS THINKING…
about recently when someone came up to me and reminded me of a kind deed I did for her many years ago. I didn’t even remember, but it was a ‘feel good’ feeling for me. It made me realize that an act of kindness can have an emotional impact and may even create a lasting memory. Actually, I have some of those memories. Maybe I’ll should try to make more “feel good” memories for others.
ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
**Georgette was once again late for work. She discretely slipped behind her desk. She saw her boss and a stranger walking toward her. She quickly put the phone to her ear. “Of course, I’ll take care of that right away,” she said. Her boss waited for her to stop chatting on the phone.
“Georgette,” he said. “This gentleman is from the phone company. He’s here to figure out why our phones aren’t working.”
**Silence and smile are two powerful tools. Smile is the way to solve many problems and silence is the way to avoid many problems.
**Despite the high cost of living It remains popular.

**When hand washing wool or cashmere sweaters, add a drop of bath oil to the final rinse. The fabric will be easier to smooth into its original shape, and will give your sweater a hint of fragrance.
**Corduroy should be washed inside out with warm water. Take out of the dryer before completely dry. Smooth pockets and seams then hang to finish drying.
**Never put fabric that has been in contact with paint, machine oil, gasoline, or any other flammable liquid in the dryer. Their fumes can catch fire.
THIS I’VE LEARNED
How often we will go someplace or do something and when we think about it later, the first thing we think about is the negative. Maybe it’s a habit we’ve developed and aren’t even aware of it. Perhaps if we realize how often we do this and make an effort to think about the best first, we’ll enjoy the things we do more. Think about it!
