I WAS THINKING…
about ‘falling back’. Gosh, I wasn’t finished yet with daylight savings time. But at my age, I’ll take all the extra hours I can get. (Even if I have to give it back in a few months.) But wait a minute; time doesn’t care how many hours are on the clock. It just keeps marching on. Well, I guess that means I didn’t really get more time.
POPULAR QUOTES ABOUT TIME
“Time is money.” Benjamin Franklin
“Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend”. Theophrastus
“Better three hours too soon than a minute too late”. Benjamin Franklin
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” Steve Jobs
“Tough times never lasts, but tough people do.” Robert Schuller
“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has no yet come. We have only today. Let it begin.” Mother Teresa
OVERHEARD
I’m a person who likes to do a lot of things, but I’m trapped in a body that doesn’t.
I can’t afford an ancestry DNA test to learn about my relatives. Instead, I posted on line that I had won the Lottery.
FREEZER TIPS
(From YouTube)
Freeze onions? Yes, you can have onions ready to add when you are cooking.
Chop onions and spread them on a tray in the freezer so they don’t stick together. After they are frozen, place them in a freezer bag. Whenever you need to add onions to soup or anything you are cooking, you won’t need to chop, but grab the bag of frozen onions.
Make frozen banana pops: Peel and cut a banana in half; insert a popsicle stick into each half. Freeze until firm. Try dipping into orange juice or roll in wheat germ or crushed nuts to give an extra healthy twist. Makes a good popsicle treat for the children.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
I know I’ve talked about this before, but I keep finding things that don’t have a date and I wish I knew. It might be from a few months or more important, many years ago. We often don’t give a thought that it might be important to someday know WHEN. We need to get into the habit to date pictures, freezer food, correspondence and so many other things. It’s a simple thing to do, if we can only remember that one day it might be important. Think about it!
