This I’ve Learned

I WAS THINKING…
about Valentine’s Day. Isn’t it great to have a day to remind us to tell the people we love how we feel. It’s what the world needs now. It minds me to say thank-you for everyone who follows me on my blog. It feels good!

ON LIGHTER SIDE
Bald is Beautiful
Sure, he’s getting bald. People were right when they said he’d come out on top.
I won’t even attempt to tell him a hair-raising story.
He’s already beginning to be bald. In fact, in high school he was voted the most likely to recede.
He has wavy hair…it’s waving goodbye.
He’s so bald that it looks like his neck is blowing a bubble.

REMOVE STAINS
(Taken from Mary Ellen’s Household Hints)
BLOOD: Cover with meat tenderizer. Apply cool water to make a paste. After 30 minutes, sponge with cold water.
CHEWING GUN: Place garment in plastic bag and put in freezer. Scrape off frozen gun.
CANDLE WAX OR CRAYON: Place-stained area between paper towels and press with a warm iron.
BALLPOINNT INK: Apply hairspray to stain. Rub with a clean, dry cloth. Or rub alcohol on the spot before laundering.
RUST: Apply lemon juice and salt, then place in the sun.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
Most of us trust our doctor as we should, but there may be times we feel we need to see our doctor sooner than we can get an appointment.
Often, time is very important when it comes to our health. So, if we feel we need answers as soon as possible, we shouldn’t hesitate to see a different doctor. We know our body best and should listen to what we feel. It may even be the difference between life and death.   Think about it.

A happy valentines day greeting with hearts.
