This I’ve Learned

I WAS THINKING…
about our yearly family reunion. It was great to see everyone again and we missed the ones who couldn’t’ make it. We get to check out who is looking older. And as usual, taking pictures was a biggie, which is a fun thing. Well, except pictures don’t lie. We can figure out who’s looking older later.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE – IS THAT A COMPLIMENT OR AN INSULT?
Did you do something with your hair?
My aunt has that same dress.
You’re looking better.
Was that song popular when you were in high school?
Do you wear make-up?
That’s what you said the last time.

HOUSEHOLD TIPS
Lemon and Salt for Cutting Boards: Sprinkle coarse salt on a wooden cutting board and scrub with half a lemon to clean and deodorize.
Vinegar for Windows: Mix equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle for streak-free window cleaning.
Coffee Grounds for Odors: Dried used coffee grounds can help absorb odors in the refrigerator or freezer.
Drop raw egg on the floor: Sprinkle with a glob of salt, let it set for 12 to 20 minutes, then sweep it up with a  broom.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
It’s feels good to be lazy. But it might become a habit if we let it happen too often. We could find we aren’t getting things done as needed. Perhaps we might need
to get ‘back on track’ and JUST DO IT.  Think about it!
