I WAS THINKING…
how uncomfortable it’s been with the really hot days. I know I did my share of complaining. Then I saw people who had no choice but to work in such unbearable heat. Gosh, what am I complaining about?

Josie wrote her friend about the changes in her life.
“I’ve become a little older since I saw you last, but I’ve become more frivolous. I’m seeing five gentlemen a day. As soon as I wake up, Will Power helps me get out of bed. Then I go see John. Soon Charlie Horse comes along. He takes a lot of my attention. After he leaves, Arthur Itis shows up and stays the rest of the day. He doesn’t like to stay in one place, so he takes me from joint to joint. After such a busy day, I’m glad to go to bed with Ben Gay. What a life!”

NATURAL BLEACH ALERNATIVE
1/2 cup 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
2 Tablespoons Lemon juice
3 1/2 cups Water
A Jar or larger glass bottle to store the mixture in
Combine half of a cup of hydrogen peroxide and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice into your container.
Add 3 1/2 cups of water. Stir the mixture and seal it with the container’s lid.
This recipe makes one quart of the natural bleach substitute in total.
THIS I’VE LEARNED
There will be times when we get discouraged. But it’s important that we don’t let discouragement possess us. It may be a time to share with a friend, pray, try to be help to someone or think about your blessings. Plan for better days ahead. Think about it!
