This I’ve Learned

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
(Taken from Uplifts)
What counts is what we learn after we think we know it all.
An upset stomach may not be from what you’re eating but what’s eating you.
To worry is to draw tomorrow’s clouds over today’s sunshine.
A wise person knows how to make stepping stones from stumbling blocks.
What you can’t do, don’t. What you can do, do.

SAVE ON CLEANING SUPPLIES
(Taken from Reader’s Digest Handy Hints)
Cover half the holes on the top of a can of scouring powder with masking tape. The can will probably last twice as long.
Follow manufacturers’ direction on cleaning supplies. More won’t be better. It will be harder to rinse off and more expensive to use.
Put ammonia, diluted with 3 parts water in a spray bottle. Use instead of commercial spray to clean windows, appliances and countertops.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
There are times when someone will ask for our advice or guidance. It may be hard to be honest because we don’t want to hurt feelings, but it’s very important that we are. Time will prove their appreciation because you did the right thing.  Think about it.
