This I’ve Learned

I WAS THINKING…
about the aprons I have and never wear but I don’t want to get rid them. Maybe it’s because they remind me of my mom who always had on an apron. Actually, there was a time when I did wear an apron when I was cooking. Maybe I should start wearing them and pretend that I cook like I used to.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE -IN OTHER WORDS
Success: Falling 10 times and getting up 11.
Luck: A loser’s excuse for a winner’s success.
Good Memory: Something that enables you to forget what isn’t worth remembering.
Status: Buying what you don’t need with money you don’t have to impress people you don’t like.
Tact: Making a point without making an enemy.

TIPS ON CLEANING OUT THE CLOTHES CLOSET
(Taken from Organizing Your Life)
Don’t keep thinking if you keep it long enough-it’ll come back in style.
If you put on something and take it off. Get rid of it. There was a reason.
If it needs to be dry cleaned or ironed, you most likely won’t wear it that often.
If something is uncomfortable to wear, you can wear something that feels better.
Some colors flatter you more than others. Why keep something that isn’t flattering to you?
If it’s out-of-style, you most likely won’t pick it to wear.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
How often we have to be some place at a certain time. That seems to be the time when traffic is bad or something unexpected happens. Perhaps if we get into the habit of leaving earlier than normally needed, we can be more relaxed and calmer. That’s something we all can use. Think about it!
