I WAS THINKING…
about our eyes. I never gave it a thought how powerful they are until the other day when I was sitting in church and I looked at a stranger. She right away looked back at me. Sounds like an easy way to get someone’s attention. But I wonder why it doesn’t seem to work for waiters or waitress.
HOW TO KNOW YOU’RE AN OLD TIMER
When you remember the labor-saving device was Sunday.
When buying on time meant getting to the store before it closed.
When you can remember every detail of your life story, but can’t remember how many times you told it to the same person.
When you can now have the things you wanted when you were young, but now you don’t want it.

HINTS FOR WASHING WINDOWS
(Taken from All-New Hints from Heloise)
When drying windows, dry on the outside from right to left, and on the inside, dry with strokes up and down. That way, if there’s streak, you can tell if its on the inside or outside of the window.
The best and cheapest thing to use when drying windows is newspaper. You don’t need to use paper towels or cloths that have lint on them.
Don’t wash windows on a hot, sunny day because the washing solution will dry too quickly and you’ll end up with lots of streaks.
THIS I’VE LEARNED
It’s nice to give a compliment. We never know how up-lifting it might be for someone who needs it. Of course, it’s important that the compliment is a sincere compliment. Think about it!
