I WAS THINKING…
about the woman I saw sitting on the corner sidewalk when I drove down a busy street. Her wheelchair was covered with bundles of stuff. It made my feel-bad hurt to think she might be homeless. I hope she can could feel my prayers for her.
WORTH REPEATING
(Probably heard before)
The most valuable gift you can give is a good example.
Be sure brain is engaged before putting mouth in gear.
Be kind. Everyone you meet is fighting a battle.
People can be divided into three groups: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened.
You never get a second chance to make a good first impression.
FACE IT – Hints for the face
(Taken from Mary Ellen’s Best of Helpful Hints)
Wash face and while still wet rub on a tiny amount of petroleum jelly. Continue wetting face until the jelly is spread evenly and not greasy. It will not stay greasy if you keep adding water a little at a time. Your face will feel soft and smooth.
Put apple cider vinegar into a basin of warm water and splash your face thoroughly. Let dry without using a towel. If used once a day, this will restore the natural ph-balance to your skin. Or instead of splashing on your face, you could use a spray bottle.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
There are times when we must do something, but we would rather not. It seems the more we think about it, the more we dread it. Perhaps if we don’t think about it so much and just do it, it’ll be easier. Think about it.
