I WAS THINKING…
about my new treadmill that’s designed for seniors. I love it! I can walk for any length of time at any time of day. Sometimes only five minutes at a time. Well, there is one negative. Now I don’t have an excuse for not walking every day.
ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
(There’s good in everything)
If a man goes bald, he can hold his hat on with a suction cup.
Wearing bifocals helps you keep your head up high.
When you get old, more people will say you look good.
Things will finally start clicking for you; although it may be your knees or elbows.
Going out is good but coming home is better.
SAVE ON CLEANING
(Taken from Reader’s Digest House-Hold Hints)
Follow manufactures directions on cleaning supplies. Using more is not better and will be more expensive to use.
Cut a scouring pad in half. It will do the work at half the price.
Cover half the holes in the top of a can of scouring powder with masking tape. It will last twice as long.
Use baking soda for cleaning kitchen and bath fixtures. It also removes odors and washes stains from refrigerators, coffeepots, teapots and thermos bottles.
A sprinkle of dry baking soda on the carpet before vacuuming will freshen carpeting just as well as any commercial carpet deodorizer.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
Sometimes we feel upset because someone isn’t being nice to us and we don’t even know the reason. We may try to discuss it with them, but if that doesn’t give us answers, why let it interfere with our life. It’s their problem, not ours. Think about it!
