I WAS THINKING…
about another birthday.  Already! I wasn’t finished with the last one. Aw well, I’ll just celebrate this one for the whole year.  (While I still can)

POTATOES MORE THAN GOOD TASTE

Remove a broken light bulb from socket. Cut a thick slice from one of a large, raw potato. Press the cut surface into the jagged glass. Twist to unscrew. Make sure power is off.
Add cut raw potato to soup with too much salt. Let it absorb some of the salt, then toss it.
To reduce puffy eyes, lay a slice of raw potato over each eye and lie back for a few minutes.
Remove stains on hands from working with berries, beet and other plant materials. Just rub hands with the cut surface of a raw potato.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
So many times, we will look at pictures or find something important only to wonder what’s the date. We wish we would have had the foresight to realize it was important to note the date. At least now we can learn to get into the habit of writing a date on things. It just might be important someday.
