This I’ve Learned

I WAS THINKING…
about a neighbor I had when I was newly married. This lady wouldn’t even look at any of the other neighbors. She was a subject for conversation. One day I decided to approach her and start a conversation. It didn’t take me long to realize she was extremely bashful. It wasn’t easy for her to talk to strangers. To make a long story short, I got to know this lovely, caring lady as a friend. All of us were guilty of judging her without knowing her. Sometimes I forget that lesson I learned so long ago. But I was reminded by a poster I saw other day. It read, “Everyone has a story. Don’t judge until you know it.”

There we were renovating our home, when we knocked out a wall and made an incredible discovery; we found a secret room, completely finished.
