This I’ve Learned

I WAS THINKING…
about how I just celebrated another birthday already. Gosh, I wasn’t finished with my last one. Oh, I’m not complaining. I know the alternative. Maybe I’ll just start counting backwards. On second thought…I can’t wait to see how far I get to count.

SEW BE IT
(Taken from Easy Does It)
Thread a needle and run it through a fabric softener sheet to prevent tangles.
To hem thick denim jeans, press it and tape it in place with duct tape instead of sewing. If the duct tape comes off after several washing, just replace it.
Scraps of soap wrapped in cloth can make a good pin cushion. The extra lubrication will help the pin slide better through the fabric.
Stick the ends of scissors into a large cork, especially for scissors in sewing box.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
We often fret about so many things in our life. Maybe we should just stop and ask ourselves… Why?  Actually, fretting robs us of happy feelings. Time is precious. We need to enjoy as much of it as possible. It not easy, but it’s worth a try. Think about it!
