This I’ve Learned

Blog March 3, 2025

I WAS THINKING…
how neat it was to see a robin. It wasn’t unusual to see robins when I lived in Illinois, but not so much in California. And just the other day, I read that a robin might be a sign that an angel is nearby. I like that! I think I’ll start putting more birdseed out.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE – SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT
Do you know the difference between a nice person and a good person?
A nice person tells you what you want to hear. A good person tells you what you should hear.
A lifetime guarantee doesn’t sound as good as it used to.
Tears are the words the heart can’t say.
Wrinkles should be called wise cracks.
We’re not over the hill; we’re just enjoying the view.

HEALTH TIP
(Taken from Wellness Made Easy)
If you are trying to reduce sodium in your diet, lookout for the following when reading labels: baking soda, baking powder, soy sauce, brine, garlic or onion salt, monosodium glutamate(MSG) and all the different sodium named.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
Sometimes we may overlook the beauty of flowers because it is labeled a weed. Same with people, we may never really get to know someone because in our mind we have labeled them. We will never know what someone has accomplished or what wisdom we can learn from them, unless we get to know them. Every person has something to offer. We just need to discover it. Think about it
