I WAS THINKING…
about my new water heater. It’s just another reminder that owning a house means upkeep. Actually, I’m not really complaining. I love my home and I’m very thankful. I guess it’s just easier to accept the high price if I whine about it.

Know what counts and what doesn’t

HELPFUL HINTS

Keep screws from coming loose by putting a drop of clear nail polish into the hole before you finish tightening the screw.
Want to keep ice cubes from sticking to each other when you make a bunch for a party? Dump the cubes into a brown paper bag and put them back in the freezer.
Make it easy to take nasty tasting pills or liquid by sucking on an ice cube first to numb the tastebuds.
Keep tools rust-free by putting charcoal, chalk or moth balls into the toolbox.
Don’t burn your finger when lighting a candle. Use a piece of un-cooked spaghetti to keep the distance.

THIS I’VE LEARNED
Making a decision is often frustrating. It helps, when possible, to give it time by “sleeping on it”. The extra time, with sleep, will give us a clearer mind. Think about it!
