I WAS THINKING…
how good it feels to laugh. The other day I was on the phone with one of my seven sisters and I don’t even remember what triggered it, but we started giggling and then we could hardly stop laughing. We both commented on how long it’d been since we even laughed. Aren’t you glad we can pick up the phone and share a little sunshine with friends and family in the midst of all the dark conversations we hear on TV? Perhaps this blog will give you a smile or chuckle. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.
BRIGHT SIDE OF GETTING OLD
You’d probably be the first released in a hostage situation.
Your health insurance is finally paying off.
KEEP A HAPPY FACE
Be sincerely grateful. Thank God often.
Drink a glass of water to start your day. (With lemon is even better.)
ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
Overheard since the Pandemic
Since everybody has started washing their hands, the peanuts at the bar have lost their taste.
They said that a mask and gloves were enough to go to the supermarket. They lied, everyone else has clothes on.
2020 is a unique leap year. It has 29 days in February, 300 days in March and 10 years in April.
Never in my wildest of wild dreams did I ever think I would go up to a bank teller and request money with a mask on.
GOOD ADVICE I ONCE RECEIVED
To have a best friend, you must be a best friend.
Always read down to the last sentence.
CARE FOR MIRRORS
(Taken from Reader’s Digest Practical Problem Solver)
Never spray cleanser directly on a mirror–the drips could seep onto the silver backing and damage it. Instead, spray the cleanser on clean soft cloth or paper towel and wipe the mirror.

Most accidents happen just before the driver hangs up.
