This I’ve Learned

I WAS THINKING…
about a watermelon I recently purchased. I wasn’t expecting it to yellow inside instead of red. It was the first time I bought that brand. I believe the taste was the same, but it seemed weird. I didn’t like the change. Then after I thought about it, I realized how foolish to be concerned about such a small change. We’ve all had to deal with immense changes in our life like death of a loved one, moving, health problem and many more. These times are harder for some than others. I know my faith is my anchor. It brings to mind a saying I once heard, “Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in order to move forward.”Author Unknown

REMEMBER THE OLD DAYS
When “Snap, Crackle and Pop” were sounds that came from your cereal not your body.
The clothes were hung out to dry in the fresh air.
Time-sharing meant time the family spent together — not purchasing condominiums.
