This I’ve Learned

I WAS THINKING…
about the recent three-digit temperature.  I always say there’s something good in everything. The only thing I could come up with is that it was hot enough to justify complaining about how hot it is. We didn’t have air-conditioning when I was growing up, now I do. Well, okay, there’s another good thing. Someone once said there is no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Don’t do anything today that you can do tomorrow. (But it’ll never get done.)
If the world ended today, would you be ready to go to heaven?
If there is a hill to climb, waiting will not make it smaller.

INCREASE GAS MILAGE
(Taken from Easy Does It)
Check the car’s tire pressure frequently. Underinflated tires increase resistance, which cause tires to wear out quicker and the car to consume more gas. A regular tune-up is important. A misfiring spark plug can lower your gas mileage by 30%.
