THIS I’VE LEARNED

I WAS THINKING
how beautiful our California hills are after some days of rain. I love it. I’ve learned to appreciate the lush green while it lasts. Too often that’s not very long.
I was staring out the window mesmerized by the raindrops. That brought back a memory. When my daughter was 4 years old, she was pouting because it was raining and she wanted to go outside. She stared out the window, then turned, and said, “I wish I was a window then I could be on the inside and outside at the same time.” I was amazed and I’ve never forgotten it. (As you can see)

MAKE YOUR OWN WINDOW CLEANER
1/4 –1/2 tsp. Liquid Detergent
3 T. Vinegar
2 Cups Water
Spray Bottle
Put all ingredients into a spray bottle, shake, and use as a commercial brand.  The soap is important. It cuts the wax residue from the commercial brands you might have used in past.

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED…
What the speed of lightning would be if it didn’t zigzag.
What if you got scared half to death…twice.
Why no ever says, “It’s only a game” when they are winning.

KEEP A HAPPY FACE
Surround yourself with what you love whether it’s family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies or whatever makes you feel good.
When someone is cranky, that’s the time to tell them you love them.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
Judi and Betty were discussing their work-out habits.
“I wish I could be like Doris,” Judi said. “She told me she goes to the gym first thing every morning.”
“Did she also tell you that she doesn’t call the bathroom John anymore?
She prefers to call it Jim.”
