I WAS THINKING…
about Dolly Parsons. Her positive life touched so many. I admire her most for the way she rose to incredible fame without losing sight of her humble beginning. I was pleasantly surprised to learn about all her good works. And I’m also impressed how she always wore such high heels at her age. (Maybe a little jealous)

MONEY SAVERS AROUND THE HOUSE

Unplug drains by mixing one cup baking soda, one cup salt and ¾ cup white vinegar. Let it set in the drain for 20 minutes, then rinse with a gallon of boiling water.
Get rid of musty odors throughout the house by placing a fabric soften sheet in the heating vent. It will also help control the static electricity.
Save up to 25% on cooling bill. Set the thermostat at 78 instead of 72 in the summer.
Any light source produces heat. Turn off lights not needed when running the air conditioner.
If ceiling fan is wobbling, try taping a coin to one of the blades. Experiment with each blade until you eliminate the problem.

There are times when the car behind us may be honking or driving close behind us because they are in a hurry. Usually, our first reaction is to feel frustrated. Unless there is something we can do about, it’s best if we don’t let it upset us. It’s their problem, not ours. Think about it!
