I WAS THINKING…
how long it takes a line of cars to move forward at a stop light. Just the other day it turned red again before I could go.There wasn’t anything I could do about it. I figured I had to be somewhere, so be it. But the guy in the car behind me used his horn to express his feelings. It reminded me about something the comedian George Carlin once said, “Have you ever noticed when anybody driving slower than you is an idiot and anyone going faster than you is manic”.
ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
Bertha: This new hearing aid is the best hearing aid I’ve ever had. I couldn’t hear this good even when I was a kid.
Martha: What kind is it?
Bertha: A quarter till five.

STOP THE BLEEDING FROM A MINOR CUT

Wash to prevent spreading infection.
Use a clean cloth or bandage and gently press the wound for several minutes to allow natural clotting to occur. (It will take longer if there is a bleeding disorder)
After the bleeding has stopped, clean thoroughly. Remove any dirt that might’ve gotten into the wound. It’s important that you apply an antibiotic ointment to the wound to prevent an infection.
THIS I’VE LEARNED
How often we are frustrated because we are in a hurry. Perhaps if we plan our time to leave earlier, we won’t have a reason to panic about being late. Possibly, if we make it a habit, we might feel a little bit less stressed. Think about it!
