This I’ve Learned

I WAS THINKING…
about someone who recently lost her dog. She was devasted. She felt she had lost her best friend. Anyone who has ever bonded with a dog know they have experienced an unconditional love. It’s been many years since I said good-bye to Brandy, but so often I’m still reminded of him. We all think of our loved ones who are no longer with us. But we can take comfort in knowing, memories are forever.

LET’S TALK POTATOES
(Taken from Haley’s Hints)
Pour boiling water over potatoes before peeling to make easier to peel.
Use a cheese slicer for thin, uniform potato slices.
Boil potato whole for 15 minutes before baking, Saves half the time.
To bake potatoes in microwave, stick four toothpicks into the potato like for legs. This allows air to circulate and it will cook more evenly.
Mashed potatoes will be light and fluffy if milk is heated before mashing.
